Vanilla Wafer Cake

 

½ lbs. butter

2 cups sugar

6 eggs

1 ½ cups vanilla wafers, crushed

½ cup milk

1 ¾ cup coconut, flaked

 

Preheat oven to 275 degrees.  Grease and flour angle food cake pan.  Cream butter and sugar together.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.  Add crushed vanilla wafers, milk, coconut, and nuts.  Stir until mixed.  Pour into pan and bake 2 ½ hours.
