Dutch Baby

 

¼ cup butter

3 eggs

¾ cup milk

¾ cup flour

 

Preheat oven to 425 degrees.  Melt butter in a 2 to 3 quart shallow oven dish.  Beat eggs.  Add milk and flour to egg mixture.  Pour batter into the hot buttered dish and bake for 20 to 25 minutes.  Serve immediately with your choice of toppings, such as, powdered sugar, jams, jellies, or fresh fruit.   Can top just as you would top waffles and pancakes.
