Peanut Butter bars

1 cup margarine

1 cup peanut butter

1 cellophane package graham crackers, crushed

1 (16oz) package powdered sugar

1 ¼ cup semisweet chocolate chips, melted

Melt the margarine in a 9x13 inch baking pan.  Stir in the peanut butter.  Add the graham cracker crumbs and the powdered sugar to the butter and peanut butter, stirring until the mixture has a uniform texture.  Press firmly to make an even layer on the bottom of the pan.  Chill covered in the refrigerator until cool.  Melt the chocolate chips in a saucepan over very low heat, spread them evenly and quickly over the chilled layer.  Return briefly to the refrigerator to cool.  Cut into squares before the chocolate hardens.  Refrigerate until serving time.
