Golden S’Mores

 

8 cups (13 oz box) Golden Grahams

1 ½ cups semi sweet chocolate chips

6 cups (10 oz bag) mini marshmallows

5 Tbsp margarine

1 tsp vanilla extract

¼ cup light corn syrup, optional

 

Melt 5 cups of marshmallows, chocolate chips, butter, and corn syrup in a saucepan over low heat.  Stir occasionally.  Remove from heat, stir in vanilla.  Butter the 13x9 pan.  Pour golden grahams into a large bowl.  Pour marshmallow mixture over cereal, stir until evenly coated.  Stir in remaining cup of marshmallows.  Press mixture into pan with buttered back of spoon.  Cool until as firm as you’d like.  Cut into 24 bars.   Store room temperature.
