Heath Bar Concoction

 

1 box (18 oz.) chocolate cake mix

2 boxes (4 oz. each) instant chocolate pudding

3 cups milk

2 cartons (8 oz. each) cool whip

4 heath candy bars

 

Prepare cake mix as directed on the box and bake.  Mix pudding and milk together as directed.  Cool cake.  Cut into 1 inch pieces.  Line the bottom of a glass salad bowl with ½ of the cake pieces.  On top of those cake pieces spill a layer of ½ of the pudding mixture and one 8 oz. carton of cool whip.  Break up 2 heath candy bar and sprinkle over the cool whip layer.  Repeat the directions for the second layer of cake, pudding, cool whip, and then heath candy.  Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
