Toasted Oatmeal and Cranberry Cookies

¾ Cup Butter

¾ Cup Brown Sugar

½ Cup Granulated Sugar

1 Lrg Egg

¼ Cup Water

1 tsp Vanilla Extract

1 tsp Sea Salt

½ tsp Baking Soda

2 ¼ Cup All Purpose Flour

2 ½ Cups Instant Oats

1 bag (12oz) Butterscotch Chips

½ Cup Maraschino Cherries, each diced into 8 small pieces

½ Cup Orange flavored Cranberries (Trader Joes), diced up

 

Preheat oven to 400. Add butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, the egg, water, vanilla extract, sea salt, and baking soda into a food processor blend until its all whipped together.  Then add the flour and blend again.

 

In a large bowl mix together oats, butterscotch chips, maraschino cherries, and orange flavored cranberries. Pour food processor mixture over the large bowl ingredients. Mix well and drop by ice cream scoop spoon onto greased cookie sheet. SPRAY SHEET ONLY ONCE EVEN IF USING FOR NEXT BATCH. OTHERWISE IT GETS TO GREASY. Bake at 400 for 8-10 minutes.

 

FOR EXTRA CRISPINESS AFTER COOKIES ARE WAY COOLED DOWN, LIKE HOURS LATER, JUST POP INTO THE TOASTER OVEN.
