Almond Roca Candy

 

1 cup butter

1 cup brown sugar

1 cup walnuts, finely chopped

1 Hershey chocolate bar, broken into pieces (8 oz)

 

Place butter and brown sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, continue to cook stirring constantly, for 7 minutes.  Grease the bottom of a shallow baking dish 9x9x2 and sprinkle with ½ cup finely chopped walnuts.  Pour the butter and sugar mixture over the walnuts and immediately spread with the chocolate pieces.  Sprinkle with remaining ½ cup walnuts.  Chill in refrigerator to set.  Cut into small pieces.
