Fried Bananas

 

1 banana, green tipped

1 ½ tsp butter or margarine

brown sugar or cinnamon (optional)

 

Peel banana and cut in half lengthwise.  In frying pan over medium-low heat, melt butter.  Place banana cut side down, cook for about 10 minutes or until lightly browned.  Turn banana over and cook another 5 to 7 minutes.  Serve warm.  Can sprinkle with brown sugar or cinnamon.
