Funnel Cake

3 eggs

¼ cup sugar

2 cup milk

3 to 4 cup flour

½ tsp. salt

2 tsp. baking powder

Crisco shortening, unflavored

Powdered sugar

Beat eggs and add sugar and milk.  Stir ½ the flour together with the salt and baking powder and add to the milk and egg mixture.  Beat the batter and add only as much more flour as needed.  Batter should be thin enough to run through a funnel.  Using your finger to control the flow, pour through funnel, swirl it into hot shortening.  Remove from fat and sprinkle with powder sugar.
