Hawaiian Pineapple Muffins

 

 

½ cup butter or margarine

1 cup sugar

2 cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

2 eggs

¼ tsp. baking soda

1/8 tsp. salt

1 can crushed pineapple, undrained (6 ¼ oz.)

macadamia nuts (optional)

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In small bowl, sift all dry ingredients together.  In large bowl, mix butter and sugar together.  Add eggs, dry ingredients and pineapple to butter mixture.  Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until brown.
