Maple Nut Fudge

 

2 cups sugar

1 cup real maple syrup

2 Tbsp light corn syrup

½ cup milk

1 tsp vanilla

1 cup walnuts, chopped

1 Tbsp butter

 

In large sauce pan, boil sugar, syrups, and milk, stirring constantly until candy thermometer reads 238 degrees.  Remove from heat.  Cool to 110 degrees. Add vanilla, walnuts, and butter, beat until thick and creamy.  Pour into a buttered 8 inch pan and chill.  Cut into bit sized squares.
