Turkey Wellington

 

 

1 sheet puff pastry, cut into 4 squares

can substitute with a few sheets of phyllo dough

1 cup stuffing

1 cup mashed potatoes

1 lbs turkey meat

salt and pepper to taste

1 egg, beaten

¼ cup milk

1 cup gravy

 

optional:

1 small onion, diced

1 lb. mushrooms, sliced

Can sauté and add to mixture

 

Preheat oven 375 degrees. Place equal amounts of stuffing, mashed potato, and turkey meat on each puff pastry.  Add salt and pepper to taste.  Beat together egg and milk.  Pull corners of puff pastry around turkey filling and seal with egg wash.  Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.  Serve with gravy.
