Onion Potatoes

 

6 medium potatoes

½ cup butter or margarine

1 envelope regular onion soup

bacon bits

 

Scrub potatoes.  Cut crosswise into ½ inch thick slices.  Blend butter or margarine and dry onion soup mix.  Spread on one side of each slice.  Sprinkle bacon bits.  Wrap each in heavy foil, sealing well.  Bake on covered grill over medium coals about 1 ½ hours or until done.
