Cheesy Potatoes

2 lb. bag frozen hash browns

1 tsp salt

½ cup chopped onion

1 pt. sour cream (2 cups)

¾ cup melted butter or margarine

¼ tsp. pepper

1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz, add water as label indicates)

2 cup grated cheddar or American cheese

2 cups crushed corn flakes

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all ingredients except for the corn flakes and ½ cup of the butter.  Pour into 9x13 pan.  In a separate bowl mix the crushed corn flakes and the ½ cup melted butter together.  Once mixed, pour on top of the other ingredients.  Cook for 1 hour.
