Hash Brown Casserole

 

 

1 bag shredded hash browns (2 lbs.)

1 sml. can cream of chicken soup

1 tsp. salt

½ tsp. pepper

½ cup chopped onions

2 cup shredded cheddar

1 ½ stick butter, divided, melted

1 cup crushed corn flakes

 

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Mix all ingredients in a large bowl, except for crushed corn flakes and a ½ stick butter.  When mixed well pour into a 13x9 in dish.  In small bowl mix crushed corn flakes and ½ stick melted butter.  Pour this on as a topping on the hash brown mixture.  Bake for 45 minutes.
