Pineapple Bread

½ cup crushed pineapple

2/3 cup raisin bran cereal w/out raisins

2/3 cup pineapple juice

1 egg, beaten

2 Tbsp. butter, melted

2 cups flour

2 tsp. baking powder

½ tsp. baking soda

½ tsp. salt

1/3 cup sugar

¾ cup almond slivers or chopped macadamia nuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  In large bowl combine pineapple, bran cereal, pineapple juice, egg, and butter.  In small bowl mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and sugar.  Combine mixtures until moistened and stir in nuts.  Pour into sprayed 9x5 loaf pan.  Bake for 1 hour 10 minutes.
