Muddy Buddies

9 cups Crispix cereal or rice Chex

1 cup chocolate chips (heaping)

½ cup any kind of peanut butter

¼ cup butter or margarine

¼ tsp. vanilla

1 ½ cups powdered sugar (save for coating)

In small bowl melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, butter, and vanilla.  In large bowl, combine ½ the cereal then ½ the chocolate mixture, then remaining cereal and then remaining chocolate mixture.  Shake to coat cereal in chocolate mixture.  Then throw in powdered sugar, and shake to coat all cereal.  Store in an air tight container.
