Cheese Basil Crackers

2 cups flour

1 tsp sugar

1 tsp sea salt, extra for seasoning

3 Tbsp Parmesan, extra for seasoning

2 tsp dried basil2 Tbsp butter, softened

1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp milk


Preheat oven to 375degrees.  In large bow whisk flour, sugar, sea salt, seasame seeds, and basil.  Use fork to work in the butter until its evenly blended. Make a well in the ingredients and add the milk.  Stir until a dough begins to form. Flour work surface and place dough onto board. Gently knead until smooth.  Add more milk if dough is dry 1 tsp at a time. Flatten the dough and cut in half.  Shape both into rectangles and transfer to parchment lined baking sheet.  Sprinkle parmesan, basil, and sea salt.  Cut the dough into same size pieces.  Do not separate or trim rough edges. Bake until golden brown about 15 minutes. make sure to turn pan at least once during baking.  Transfer to wire rack and let cool.
